Maybe that's why it was boring ...
I was hoping for something groovy, but it wasn't, except
maybe for the last piece of the show, instead we were served
one drum solo, one piano solo, one "folk" song, 2 or 3
afro-cuban tribal dances and percussions, and some
background echo and effects ... but not much else...
I was expecting some really cool jazz-techno-house fusion...
just to show people that techno is not just "big beats" but
can also be fun to listen to ... even if you're not into
it.
Kid Koala did a bit of what I liked, at the end of his
5 mins. a bit of groovy scratching and turn-tabling. but
it lasted about 5 mins ... before him, was wiz-kid A-Track
who did a small set also ...
I may be harsh, but I was expecting something way different.
I was not at all in the mood for tribal dances, of folkish
song... or even way to much mc's.
Max.
