[idm] mondii, john hughes, teen angst and a possible future of judgement-less interiors

i've been relatively enjoying the mondii cd on hefty records. what
fascinates me the most is the john hughes thing...does any one else find
this just completely bizzare? there's the 'reach the rock' reference...am i
totally lost and reading too much into this? is this the same john hughes
who brought us the likes of 'breakfast club' and 'ferris bueller' ? and now
he's doing weirdo remixes and sonic 'treatments' .. appologies if this has
already been covered.
