back from the hultsfred festival in småland, sweden, a few hours ago.
APHEX TWIN spun hiphop and dnb stuff. dull. really bad mixes, an occational scratch here and there.
ED DMX KREW played his boring heyheyitsdmxkrewandgetfunkygetdownonthefloorvocodermumbojumbo-electro with the exception of one 4/4 electroish thing. can't remember too much. drunk.
OVUCA. don't know really. i guess it was some viddy gamey dnb for all i could tell from my distance. more beer. cloudy.
MODER JORD ALLSTARS rocked my boat. dub/hiphop. awesome. good guys. i heard they were really really good at Arvika'97 too. with them was Bob Hansson, the 'techno poet'.
JEFF MILLS/CLAUDE YOUNG were doing their thing working the turntables. me dancing. me bored.
but then again, the real fun stuff is always going on in the camping area...
np:just a few seconds ago metamatics-dayglo tinsel-district six (hey hey hey whats up with d6? lots of releases planned according to the cute note paper but where are they?) and now metic-sixto novaton-schematic (long fucking np-line for all you guys who really hate these i say your mother was a hamster!)
