The new SND album, called Makesnd Cassette, was
released last week and it is amazing! Fifteen minimial
rhythmic, at times almost ambient, tracks with touches
of dub and experimental elements thrown into the mix.
This album is what I would imagine a maus & stolle,
pole, mimic & the model, various artists, institut fur
feinmotorik, oval, and fennesz collaboration would
sound like. Definitely one of the tops of the year
and one which would be welcome on my desert
island. In fact, i think listening to this album while
sitting under a palm tree on an isolated sandy
carribean beach with the waves slowly lapping the
sand would be a religious experience for me. 10/10
