urrgghh...some of the drum machine sounds are just plain wack

i'm all for artists changing and growing, trying new things (if afx sounded the same way now as he did in 94 i would't give him the time of day!). most of us aren't the same people we were 2 years ago, but i really believe they fell short on 'via..' and not short of their previous sound but short of a good record

interesting comparison as i feel the orb slipped as well. after 'pomme fritz' there was something missing from the orb's output, their tracks didn't quite gel (words escape me) anymore. and (plaid's) 'not for threes' the production is a little dry for my taste on that lp (like via nostra) for my taste, plus i skip over half the songs.

o.k., how do i get some of what you're on?

well that's a good attitude. often the albums that are hard to get into at first are the most rewarding over time now, knowing that i like 'present' a lot can anyone recommend thomas fehlmann's 'flowing..'? peace-adrien _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web.
