Mark Broom is definitely not witchman. I think witchman is John Roome so the name is close but they are entirely different people. Mark Broom has been producing music in the abstract electronica, minial techno, and electro styles since the early 90s. when he first started he worked closely with the black dog productions/plaid guys and even helped on some of their early gpr releases. from there mark started producing music with peter "baby" ford in the ifach label. mark also has several of his own labels including Backroom, Rewired, Dark House Music, and Pure Plactic to name just a few. To date Mark has over 70 releases out. The Mark Broom ep you mention above is in the percussive minimal techno style so it's definitely NOT like anything witchman has ever done. -->-Lance--- mclance@nacs.net lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
