Hiya, Regarding "...a bunch of records for sale...did
quoted 2 lines anybody else buy anything> anybody else buy anything > from her? if so, did you get your stuff?"
I didn't buy any records from said person, but thought i'd run this by as an idea. We run an on-line record shop (smallfish.co.uk), that is about to have a BBS on it, and we had a thought. It seems that quite a few people are trading/swapping stuff, and occasionally money gets sent and records don't arrive or vice versa...which is not good. Given that we are posting out tunes alot, and therefore are going to the post-office alot...blah, blah, blah... Cut to the chase...we were thinking we could act as a middleman....we could get seller to send the tunes here, and the buyer to send the money here, and only when both have arrived, would we then send the money to the seller, and the tunes to the buyer. We wouldn't charge anything (except postage...which is where the potential problem lies. europe is cheap, the ROW is more expensive)...and if either party didn't fullfill their side of the bargain, then we would return the tunes/money to the relevant parties. Anyway, just a thought, but we'd appreciate any feedback on it. cheers, ...the fish _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
