I just talked to a friend of mine who went to see the US DJ championships or
something in Chicago and said this year it completely sucked. The last two
years were awesome, lots of competition, varied dj styles and what not, but
this year no one was representing. The sets were all generic and week and
most of the really good people have gone off to record deals and shit, so
they don't compete anymore. Hopefully the world dmc will be different.
