CiM Warm Data FOC351 (12" EP) Cardiff based label Headspace gave Simon Walley (CiM) his debut releases 12"s that fused house and techno with more melodic and synthesized elements. It was Holland's Delsin imprint that saw the first example of his smoother, down tempo side when his 'Service Pack' was released and sold out twice! He has shared a release with Detroit's Sean Deason and had New Jersey's Morgan Geist remix his work. His classic 'Cool Air' which came out in '97 found its way onto the Big Chill's 'Enchanted Garden' compilation. Simon played a beautiful DJ set of old electronica and soulful techno to a chilled crowd. CiM continues to have a day job and still have an ever increasing output of his "beautifully fragile electronica" Muzik. He says he's influenced by science fiction and growing up and is surrounded at work by 'a desk top PC inches away from my eyes and artificial lighting'. You can hear his offerings played on radio stations worldwide. What they say about CiM: - "Beautifully fragile electronica" Muzik - "Steps into Mr Fingers territory" DJ - "CiM goes deeply into the first days of Detroit Breaks" De Bug - "Ibiza factor 0%, hit potential 0%, quality 99%" ID Magazine - "For fans of B12, Stasis and As One" Magic Feet - "Grandiose distorted synth pop" DJ Track Listing Side A Cable Car, File Server, Do Not Multiply Models, Robot Valley Side B Disk Three, Hitachi, Relaxing At Home, Cilate Do You See --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
