You don't have to give up indie rock for IDM. God knows I've been going to
entirely too many indie rock shows lately, since suddenly here in Dallas
we have like 10 really good pop bands. I saw Papas Fritas recently, too.
Can't go wrong with that.

but I get a perverse thrill out of making IDM kids go see indie bands and
indie kids see IDM music.
Funny how the indie kids seem to be more OK with the IDM than vice
versa...
