2 years ago or so i tried out altavista's hilarious "babelfish" translation service on a random text. i think it was some feature on j burger which was written in english and which i had babelfish translate into german just for the hell of it. for added pleasure, i did not read the english version before in order to see if i could figure out by the german text what the english text meant. one word that kept coming up was "mikrophontinte", as in "ich habe viel mit mikrophontinte gearbeitet". i couldn't figure what might have been meant by that as hard as i tried, so i finally checked the english version and read "mike ink" :-D cheers, tom At 14:27 23.03.99 -0800, cl wrote:
