Quite unexpected, and unlike other Pan(a)sonic and related projects I've heard. From one track to the next, the pieces jump from restrained, non-rhythmic noise to cheese-lounge electronica. I expect the collaborators had a large contribution. I listened to the whole thing straight through, albeit sort of at 90 degrees (as opposed to background). It might work better in smaller amounts. My reaction now is it is something of a curiosity, made primarily if not exclusively for a specific purpose, rather than a work meant to be taken as a normal step in their development. Proceed with caution. Rating: maybe 5/10. "A" is worth about 8/10 at least. --Mark __ Burning Rome : SENSELESS CD on Mindfield Records MindCD03 Cathartium 14 > Distributed by Dutch East India Trading, Com Four, and Carrot Top < < http://www.xnet.com/~mkolmar/BurningRome > < MP3 & RealAudio tracks > On Sun, 21 Mar 1999, Jeremy J Graham wrote:
