The main reason a lot of IDMers swear by the Atari ST is that the MIDI
timing is rock solid. There's some guy on the Logic list that does timing
tests from time to time, and the Mac still isn't quite there, and Windows?
The multimedia timer introduces all kinds of slop (seems to be better in
Win98, but it still sucks compared to the Atari).
