on design: track down the series of Reflection releases to see some
beautiful designs implemented over a variety of packages. the remix comp
and associated 12s had a grid of colored rectangles assembled in various
patterns. The Errornormous World series of packaging was done with a two
color metallic ink scheme that was very lush and organic.
on music: if you don't like, you don't like. but the label showed an
evolution in sound that some people grew to enjoy while some early adopters
rejected.
