Some of it might sound really familiar to (also temporary) Londoners.
Hope there aren't any "Mind the Gap" samples - That would just drive me spare. Si Begg's Peel sessions a while back were pretty good as I remember it. And it sounded like he had a ton of work waiting to be released. Mini Reviews : Squarepushers new mini-album - Not bad, but I can't remember much about it yet. But it doesn't seem to be as murky as MIRON. Jimi Tenor : Organism - This is ace! Loved Intervision, and this is better. Buy it! Method Man : Judgement Day Remixes. Bought it coz I'm a Roni Size fan, but I think I prefer Tricky's remix on it. Haven't got the original, so I can't comment on the work overs though. Underworld - Surprisingly very good. Big Detroit influence. Ed Rush and Optical : Wormholes. It's good, but it's gets too much. Especially the mixed CD. 20 minutes in I find it gets too much. Pole CD1 and CD2. I don't get it. It's okay, but I really don't see what all the fuss is about. And all the press have been singing the praises and I just don't understand why (yet). That's all I can think of for now. -i.
