yep. i remember playing this game with my friends when i was really young
where you bet that you can tell if the tv is on. i've met some other
people who can hear it too. it's more noticeable on older tv's, like that
kind that have a power knob that also acts as a volume control. (and
there's a similar sound that comes from the end of my street, i don't know
what it is, but it's the same annoying sound.)
