Completely agree. Glass certainly didn't "influence" Steve Reich in any
way. They were approximate contemporaries at the inception of minimalist
music, but their musics have never been that similar. Glass gets very
superficial and boring very quickly, whereas I can listen to Reich for
hours. He has much more variation in orchestration and in techniques.
