more often than not i find myself wondering why there are never any tracks these days that approach the brilliance of 'a case of funk' or 'dextrous' (which are two tracks from this wicked album) so my very humble opinion is that you should get this. from back in the days when warp music was straightforward, concise, and fun. i became a little worried upon hearing 'window licker', but the third track managed to salvage it. the first two? they're a little lacking in, erm, personality.. i've been waiting for it to be cool (ie the done thing) to be a parmegiani wannabe. but rich's beard's got a long way to go yet.
