after multiple listens to the recently compiled rykodisc gang of four 2XCD
anthology, i would have to second that emotion and say that they don't make
'em like they did in '79-'80. this shit still rocks my world like it did
first time around when i was a senior in highschool. quintessential
deconstructionist funk plus penetrating socio-commentary.
sorry for the non-IDM content, i think the joy division tip set it off....
