this past summer...to accommodate the 2500+ vinyl collection i have...i built myself a nice shelving unit... it has three levels for the vinyl....about 4 "crates" wide...therefore i have 12 crates capacity.... each of the "crates" is wood..with a lining in there so it doesnt ruin the sleeve like the plasic milk crates do... plus each "Crate" is on rollers so i can pull out which style of music i would like to hear ... on top of this unit there are the 1200's, mixer, and speakers.... and a little hook for the headphones...on top of the unit are the amp, tape deck, cd player, etc.. it cost about 50 bucks to do....will last a lifetime if you get high quality wood... only rpoblem is the disassembling/reassembling during moving time.. *ick* the schematics were done on notebook paper...and i am w/o a scanner or else i would email you the jpg... good luck... -mikeD Distortion.Records
