well, the best release of the year is Fennesz's "Hotel Parallel" cd,
along with the Fennesz "Plays" 7" which was coreleased on cd by jim
o'rourke's label moikai...
i also reccomend several releases by mego folk which aren't on mego such
as the rehberg&bauer cd on touch...r&b are the two heads of mego, peter
rehberg being pita, and ramon bauer being half of general magic.
Anything by farmers manual is brilliant, although i've found many folk
on this idm list to find farmers manual to be "too abstract"...fuck
them...it's brilliant...start off with fsck (if you can find it, it's
out of print) or the new album, one of the best of the year,
explorers_we...
