i'm a musician and a dj. the persecution complex that a lot of electronic
musicians show is amusing to say the least. IMO it shows them to be the
frustrated pop stars that they are.
9 times out of 10 i'd rather see a dj set than a PA. why? because 9 times
out of 10 there's more opportunity for varience in a dj set. i'm sure that
YOUR live show is different, but that's been my experience.
i keep expecting this provincialism to erode away as time marches on, but
it hasn't happened yet. . .
