The term "drum & bass" was used first in dub-reggae. Since they helped invent it they thought they would recapture the term. There have been 90's d&b remixes of Sly & Robbie, but that's not what this new disc is about. Howie B's dubbing and processing is quite cool and gritty. I recommend this disc and the DVD single with the manga video. CT
