I think if it is exceptional electronic music it doesn't really
matter. Some people might classify alot of Carl Craig's work as just
"Detroit" but alot of his work is pretty IDMish to me.
I thought it was pretty pathetic that Fatboy Slim was in the Best of
house/techno category. Come on there were way BETTER releases than
that this year.
I thought the choices for best jungle release was pretty weak also.
Jega...it's not really drum n bass. And if it were considered that, it
would definitely be at the bottom of any drum n bass list.
