I just read the Timbaland article in the new issue of The Wire. He claims every electronic influence *except* drum and bass. Hes a big Bjork fan apparently and even admits to having sampled her for his tracks. The fact that his engineer produced Gang of Four, Roxy Music and The Meters doesn't hurt his style either! Now if would only ditch those sad rappers and syrup singers. Company Flow and Foetus. Hows that for a combo? :-)
