I don't know. All my indie rock friends are way into weird idm-ish stuff too. I know quite a few people who love Belle & Sebastian as much as they like, say, Autechre or pan sonic. I suppose this phenomenon varies with your area, though, and I admit that the idm fanbase is, in my experience, way smaller. And the crossover is kind of weird, considering how different the musics are. Who gives a fuck about Burger/Ink?
