Yes. I've noticed that more & more discs have long blank spaces followed
by sound/music (Ae, last 2 Orb albums, etc). My theory is that the record
companies are encouraging people to go out and buy cd burners & digital
audio editing software so that they can make "corrected" copies for their
friends. At least that's been my reaction to this annoyance.
