If Ninja Phil is still around, maybe he can answer this:
Don't know if I've missed anything (I think I have) but
I haven't heard a squeak from Funki Porcini since Love,
Pussycats and Carwrecks.
So, two questions for ya:
a) what have I missed?
b) what's next?!
and my tuppnybitsworth on Clifford Gilberto - I think
two or three tracks are sqp-derivitive, still pretty
funky. I was glad to find the whole album wasn't like
this - in fact I think it's the style of some of the
other stuff which prompted me into asking about Funky
Porcini. For me I prefer the slower tracks on CG's album
to similar Tobin type material.
