You're right on the Universal Indicators and Gak, but
I totally disagree (and think many other people would
as well) on your assessment of "The Philosophy of
Sound and Machine" which is probably one of the
best compilations ever assembled. Truly incredible
tracks from Derrick May, Balil, Future/Past and
even good stuff from the Aphex Twin and the Kosmik
Kommando. If anybody on this list likes Innovator,
Bytes, Selected Ambient Works 2, the Polygon Window
album, Electro-Soma, etc. etc. this compilation is
basically tracks similar to those put together. A
phenomenal release.
