Yeah, If I didnt have a doctors appointment earlier that day, my commute
home would have intersected the path-o-destruction at the time it hit. I
would have been one of those local cretins wildly staring into the news
cameras talking about witnessing 18-wheelers fly end over end while I
clung to the beam of an overpass. Tornados being the odd things they
are, only 10 miles away where I live it barely rained for 10 minutes - go
figure. That tall buidling everyone sees on the news had my
girlfriend's favorite restaurant on the top floor, and we only ate their
last month & now it is destroyed!! If only we could have waited a month
we could have skipped out on the check! Nothing like a free meal due to
natural disaster! Oh well, cant play the 'what if' game.
