It's somewhat of a return to his melodic Florence sound of days ago but with a couple new discoveries. It's not as good as "A Touch of Heaven" or "The Vineyard" by any means. Definitely a little bit slow and a little minimal, although I suppose "A Touch of Heaven" (the best Lowlands track ever, IMHO) was a little minimal as well. The problem for me with this record is that it almost sounded better on 45 and seems pressed on 33. I would recommend for Robbers fans, Lowlands fans, or people who just need a good record to buy these days (they are in somewhat short supply), but I wouldn't recommend it universally. To really hear some top notch Lowlands check out the Agenda 21 and 22 comps on Eevolute and the Lowlands comp on New Electronica, and while you're at it some early 100% Pure 12"s (especially anything by Sterac who are incredible), or for that matter some old Florence material on various labels.
