He used to hop over the border from Windsor to Detroit all the time to
spin at parties, but didn't tell the customs folks that he would be
working while he was in the US (which he was since he was getting paid for
it). I guess they got suspicious about this guy constantly crossing over
with a couple of crates of records in his car and decided to do some
investigating. Once they found out the real story, he was banned from the
US for a period of time.
Or at least that's the story I've been told.
