I'd say they're on a par. All this Autechre vs Everyone Else Making Music bullshit can only go so far. Sure, Autechre are a talented couple of guys who've released some excellent stuff, but there's too many people in this group with their head too far up Autechre's arse to even consider anything else worthy of a spin on the decks.

What about their remix of Bjork's 'All Is Full of Love'? Or the Aemic 'Aleph' 12-inch? (Okay, so it's Fakesch and Estermann, but it's close enough.) Having said that, I've always preferred Fakesch's solo efforts to his stuff with Funkstorung.
