all electric house is what michael rother would sound like if he had half a clue (i figure he's at about 1/4 clue), though that's a bit a lame comparison. it's an extremely well-made and quite varied collection of current new wave flavored electro. other lame comparisons: a hi-fi i-f or le car with modern keyboard technology. solenoid wrote a good review in the outgoing issue of urbansounds. carl finlow was also half of scarletron, the last non-j.saul kane 12 on electron industries. that record doesn't sound anything like a.e.h. or il.ek.tro, it's more like dj pierre doing e.b.m. anybody know where to get il.ek.tro? eric [sally]
