How far "back in the day" are you talking about?
This list went live August 1, 1993. I remember because I was one of
the original subscribers. Set up by Brian Behlendorf and Alan Fluid
Parry from Brian's bedroom in Berkeley, CA.
I was on the list pretty much for the first year, and then subscribed
on and off briefly until the beginning of this summer.
If you were subscribed since '93, chances are you didn't miss too
much...
