my fave is subliminal sandwich. might be hard to find really cheap, since it's a two disc release, but it's worth it. weird contrast- supercompressed sound sprawling across two discs. covers a lot of bases, but quite well. and take mr. danger's advice from the inside of the sleeve- play it two or three times when you're not really paying attention, *then* sit down and give it a really close listen. strangely, i did this quite by accident before i read the liner notes- i just threw the discs into the changer and they played a few times before i really listened. subliminal indeed. -rob (oh, and don't hold their presence on nothing against them...sometimes even nothing puts out good stuff!)
