Luke Slater (aka Clementine, Planetary Assault
Systems, Morganistic and 7th Plain) is one of the best
techno producers out there in my opinion. Albums like
4 Cornered Room, and My Yellow Wise Rug are excellent
idm releases.
His Planetary Assault Systems release are a bit more
minimal and dancefloor oriented.
Almost everything he has released has been awesome,
except for his last lp on Novamute. For some strange
reason he released a breakbeat record called Wireless,
that one didn't do much for me. Although it is very
good for that style of music, it's not a sound I am
particularly interested in.
Actually, there are several exceptional drum n bass
djs going to be there. Ed Rush, J Majik & Adam F. And
Alot of good hip hop Jurrasic 5, Qbert, etc.
Oh and fuck trance!!! That shit is garbage, and among
the worst of electronic music.
