I really like this list, and I would add: Biorhythms 1 & 2 (Network Records (not the Vancouver, B.C. label)) my comments: On Fri, 10 Jul 1998, Zenon M. Feszczak wrote:

Absolutely, AI 1 is listed in the original IDM FAQ from a few years ago as the defining recording for IDM and what it means, that is fine with me.

I suggest 1 or 2 over 3 or 4 any day.

I s'pose so, eh.

While I don't care for this stuff much, yeah, this is the ultimate comp of quality stuff from this time, etc.

hmm, was this ever on vinyl? I forget to look for cd's, so I never noticed this comp series

Egad, yes; second to AI, imho.

Yes

hippie!

Here I agree with the "earthrise.ntone", and would suggest the Ninja "DJ Food" jazz breaks and remix LPs, as they really represent Ninja in a good light. DJ Tools, too. These aren't comps, true, but they have enough ninja hands in them that they practically are comps by who is on them. solenoid@europa.com <------+
