i just freaked myself out because i'm listening to tortoise's 'millions
now living' and hit that point about 14 minutes into 'djed' where the
track sounds like it's coming apart. great stuff, except it sounds
uncannily like an old tape deck i had when it decided to chew up tapes.
so just to make this an actual idm post, anyone got any funny stories bout
mistaking sounds for stuff in life? i know the first few times i played
the richard d. james album i was looking around to see if i had somehow
turned on my modem.
