Don't know if I can remember my very first recor. but my first favorite
artist (i.e. I bought everything I could find) was Billy Idol. Even back
then, I was a li'l 'spotter, buying obscure German 12"s and coloured vinyl
and picture discs and shit.
First electronic record I can remember buying (besides Depeche Mode) is
either Ministry "Over The Shoulder" 12" or Skinny Puppy "Remission".
First "techno"/IDM records (well, CDs, actually): The Orb "Adventures" and
Polygon Window "Surfing on Sine Waves".
