Just for the trainspotters.
The new Whale single 'Four Big Speakers' contains remixes by Cut La Roc
and µ-Ziq.
The Paradinas mix starts out with various dissonant note sequences,
all apparantly played at full overdrive. (Reminded me of running
Spritiualized records through a distortion pedal.) The vocals get the
vocoder treatment, and the beat get the fuzziest drill & bass treatment.
(Or is that Dull & Boring treatment? It's dead folks. IMHO)
Like I said, just for the trainspotters. Even for the weary ones, like
me. (At least the Cut La Roc mix was worthwhile!)
