I listen to vinyl as a matter of "some of my favorite artists release some
of their music only in this format, so I have to buy it that way." If I
could get it on CD, I would, in an instant.
That said, I often record the vinyl I purchase onto MiniDisc, so I don't
have to play the actual artifact all that often.
