a friend of mine said sticking your cd's in the freezer works. i tried it, but stuck it in a freezer bag first. needless to say, it didn't work, so i ended up replacing my delerium cd, but i don't know if it only failed because of the freezer bag. i've also heard about getting a cd refinished, costing about $3-5, but i don't know where you could get that done... -brad ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: (idm) Help: Scratched CD's... Author: Martin Duncanson <martin@warsop.demon.co.uk> at INTERNET Date: 6/10/98 4:24 PM Can anyone advise me on getting rid of surface scratches on compact disks? Are there any products available or any tricks to polishing marks out? I made the mistake of loaning a few favourites to a friend for a party, only to have a couple returned unplayably scratched on the read side. aaargh! :-( -- Martin Duncanson
