Just my two cents ... but you'd think all of us poor sods who can't afford a
$30 disc (much less a $70 one!) would never get a chance to hear these hard-
to-find and obviously much desired recordings. How about those of us who are
poor all put up $5 and buy it and then each copy it for our own pleasure.
That would definitely allow many to hear the limited-edition copies of things
we will never otherwise get a chance to. Just a open thought, not a solid
proposition. But this bidding thing is getting ridiculous. I always thought
it was about the music ... I love the music, but at such extreme prices it
would appear to be an impossibility. I feel sorry for those who are just
getting into IDM. Yeah, there are lots of classic recordings out there, but
this pricing extortion is going to take a lot of potential ones out of their
hands/ears.
