dmers... i'm on a mego/a-musik/touch/ash/tray/etc... binge, and looking for some suggestions. not really searching for 'clones' of the groups on these labels (have mego titles up the ass, 1/TAU glued to my CD player, and beautyon driving my friends into states of madness...), but something with the same 'structure' combined with melody. really really like the tulkinta album by 'ohm.' (yes, i get to listen to nifty neato electronic music all day at work, and a 'manager' who knows, ummm, A LOT to say the least... just looking for some 'outside' input... and i'll get my ass kicked if i just sit around all day listening to CDs / Vinyl) unfortunately i'm stuck to CD format right now (a.k.a, no turntable. but proud owner of two incredibly rare 12" which i gotta transfer to tape or something...), so that kinda limits things. sorta like pulusha meets fm with pomassl in the audience while paul shutze is getting some popcorn... i'm guessing there's a buttload of groups right in front of me that i just haven't listened to yet, and 'fit the bill.' or maybe not. perhaps it's time to put all those damn synths, samplers, drum machines, processors, computers, etc to good use. (i'm a slacker with too much equipment..) well, any suggestions (besides 'get on your ass and make something...' this part, i know..) would be greatly appreciated. thanks bunches... boy wonder, chrisTiaN -- "Working for You, To Provide More for Me." .Modern Music. http://www.modernmusic.com e-mail: modernmusic2@earthlink.net
