Ciao - Techno in figure skating is already quite common on the professional circuit. The Olympics are another matter - contestants tend to choose very conservatively for those events. The reference to the skater who won while injured - probably indicates Ukrainian skater Oksana Baiul, who won the gold in skating during the previous Olympics - with enough injected committee-approved morphine to manage the pain after a hi-speed collision on ice in practice the day before. Speaking of Oksana Baiul, I recall that she used quite diverse music works in professional performances, including selections from Peter Gabriel's "Passion" and techno tracks, along with the more traditional Swan Lake et al. 3
