Been digging in the crates lately & listening to the old stuff lately & a few Qs popped up. If Newbuild is State002, Let Yourself Go is State003, & Quadrastate is State004 (all Creed cat.#s), was there a State001? There's no evidence of it in the discographies I've found. Has anyone ever heard (or better yet, gotten their hands on) any of the following?: The last 2 Biting Tongues 12"s - Evening State & Love Out Manchester Hit Squad - Wax On The Melt 12" Switzerland - Inflight EP The dates on the Biting Tongues 12"s overlap w/ 808State, & I've heard that they were mostly Graham Massey (the title Evening State is a massive clue), and that Love Out was very Quadrastatish. If someone has these, please let me know. M/cr Hit Squad had MCTunes on it, but how many tracks? How much like Ex:El is Switzerland? Does anyone know when the Lounge Jays 12" came out? It's not in the discog, and the sleeve has no date. Stylistically it sounds like Newbuild. The sleeve says: LOUNGE JAYS Sex Mechanic/Message-A-Rama PRODUCED BY 808 STATE FEATURING A GUY CALLED GERALD SIDE AA/A 12" 33 PRE-RELEASE EMS002T AN ANTI SMILEY CAMPAIGN MADE IN THE NORTH OF ENGLAND Finally, what was the deal w/ Simpson & Price leaving? I've never read anything written about it, but based on AGCG's "Specific Hate", I'd say there was some acrimony surrounding his departure... Thanksabunch Che
