While I haven't heard a lot of VD stuff myself, a friend of mine who is a very "serious" music listener and is a huge fan of both Porter Ricks and Monolake is praising Delay as some of the best stuff he's heard in a long time. YMMV.

Yessir. I was lucky enough to receive a CD-R of two Varathane tracks that are destined for the next Sprout release. Very nice stuff.
