I've been appalled too and suggest a purge of all experimentation and
extraneous elements in electronic music. This would include use of live
instruments, funky "Amen" breaks and non 4/4 time sound signatures (both
signs of the dreadful infilitration of R&B and jazz into our pure music).
Use of TR-808 and TB-303 and robot voices will be mandatory.
Just kidding :-)
P.S.: All of "New Forms" isn't great but there is enough of value to make a
"fan" of Roni Size.
