I caught the new Madonna video for "Frozen" on MTV last night, and it turns
out to be directed by Chris Cunningham, the dude who did "Come to Daddy".
The
new video is nowhere as great as the Aphex one, but it's got some nice shots
and effects, esp. the dissolves from Madonna into various creatures.
Although,
based on the three videos of his (Autechre, Aphex, Madonna) that I've seen,
I'm beginning to think the man knows exactly one single color palette.
Random tidbit: I just read about some movie named "Black Dog" - starring
Patrick Swayze and (of all people) Meatloaf. I wonder if Ken would be
interested in doing some soundtrack work...
